Men's Swimming and Diving In Fourth After First Day of TCNJ Invitational

Ewing, N.J. - December 3, 2010 - Both Brian Sobel and Kenny Pancoast met national qualifying marks to lead the Springfield College men's swimming and diving team in the opening night of the TCNJ Invitational of Friday.

After the first day, Springfield sits in fourth out of six teams with 256 total points. The College of New Jersey leads with 571 points, followed by Johns Hopkins (422), and Washington & Lee (283).

Josh Ernst took third in the 100 back with a time of 53.43, while Tim Ramos placed seventh in the 200 fly after touching in 2:01.72.

On the three-meter board,Sobel finished third with a score of 503.10, while Pancoast placed directly behind him in fourth after totaling 471.90.
