Relay's Shine at ECAC Championships for Women's Track and Field

Crystal Davis Complete Results

New York, N.Y. – March 3, 2012 - The Springfield College women’s track and field team competed in the ECAC Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend at the Armory Track and Field Center. All of the Pride’s scoring came from its relays.

The Pride finished in a tie for 32nd with nine points. MIT topped the field of 57 teams that scored with 56.33 points, followed by runner-up Amherst’s total of 44 points.

Springfield’s 4x200 relay team of Crystal Davis, Gabriella Gaudreault, Elizabeth Saia, and Laurie Jenkins placed fourth in 1:45.42.

The Pride’s 4x800 relay squad finished sixth as Michelle Mirti, Alex Mustardo, Gabrielle Williams and Jenn Kapinos ran a time of 9:38.79.

In the 4x400 relay, Katie Schumann, Saia, Gaudreault, and Davis combined for a 3:59.31 en route to an eighth place finish.
