Women's Swimming and Diving Places Second at TCNJ Invitational
Ewing, N.J. - December 5, 2010 - After several tremendous performances over the weekend, the Springfield College women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the TCNJ Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The Pride finished second out of the six-team competition, behind eventual champion Johns Hopkins.
Johns Hopkins University totaled 1,074 to win the meet, followed by the Pride's 885 points. Washington & Lee (780), The College of New Jersey (714), West Chester (181), and Rowan (123) rounded out the scoring.
On Sunday, Springfield's 800 free relay won by over 16 seconds as Kellie Pennington, Aimee Doe, Caroline Kosciusko, and Kaitlin Reilly touched in 7:50.11. The Pride's Meghan Sisson also took runner-up honors in the 1,650 free after touching in 17:59.86.

Diving Coach Peter Avdoulos
Peter Avdoulos is regarded as one of the top diving coaches in the nation, and is entering his 29th season as the diving coach for both the men's and women's programs in 2013-2014.
