Williamsport, Pa. -- January 16, 2010 -- The Springfield College wrestling team split in its final day of competition at the Budd Whitehill Dual Invitational at Lycoming College this afternoon. The Pride first lost to Ohio Northern University, 29-16; and then later defeated Messiah College, 20-18. With the split, 28th-ranked SC is now 3-2 in duals on the season, and finished 2-2 in this Invitational.

Jason Holder will enter his second season as head wrestling coach in 2012. Holder had a standout first season at the helm of the Pride, leading Springfield to the NEWA Duals Championship and taking three wrestlers to the NCAA Championships.
