



Complete ResultsSpringfield, Mass. - January 29, 2011 - The Springfield College men’s swimming and diving team fell to visiting Babson College, 122-110 this afternoon at Art Linkletter Natatorium.
Josh Ernst grabbed the first Pride victory of the day, winning the 200 yard freestyle handily in 1:47.73. Springfield also fared well in the 100 yard butterfly event, placing the top two finishers. Scott Mackstutis was victorious, posting a time of 0:54.84, while his teammate David Shaw came in right behind him at 0:57.86.
Nolan Manley continued to swim well in the 100 yard freestyle, winning the event with a time of 0:49.32. Travis Morse followed up Manley’s victory with a win of his own in the 100 yard backstroke. Morse clocked in at 0:55.13.
In diving, Springfield continued its dominance with wins in both the one-meter and three-meter events. In the one-meter, Kenny Pancoast broke the 300-point mark with a score of 302.05. In the three-meter, Brian Sobel completed the Pride diving sweep with a score of 349.85.
The Pride men are back in action next Saturday afternoon when they host the Amherst men at 1:00 pm.
