NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. - Sept. 20 - Springfield College junior
Steve Wilson (West Hartford, Conn.) finished 49th (27:49) out of 204 runners to lead the Pride to a 12th-place showing out of 26 teams at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational, Saturday.
Sophomore
Scott Barton (Fort Plain, N.Y.) and junior
Pat Derocco (Utica, N.Y.) finished in 66th and 67th place, respectively. Barton's time was 28:10, while Derocco finished in 28:11.

Bryan Brown will enter his third season as the head men's cross country coach in the fall of 2013. Brown, who was a former All-American at Springfield College in track, is the reigning NEWMAC Coach of the Year after leading Springfield to its second-straight second-place finish at the conference championships a year ago .
