Marisa Clapp Wins Amherst Invitational
AMHERST, Mass., September 7, 2002-Springfield College junior
Marisa Clapp (Charleton, Mass.) finished first in the Amherst College Invitational and led the Pride to a fourth-place finish overall.
Clapp covered the course in 18:50 and senior
Kelley Henry (Whitinsville, Mass.) finished ninth with a time of 20:26. Freshman
Meg Young (Hurley, N.Y.) finished third for the Pride and 14th overall with a time of 20:48.
The Pride travel to the Middlebury College Invitational on Saturday, September 14th.
