Women’s Soccer Falls to Babson, 1-0
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Sept. 28, 2002 - Babson College sophomore midfielder
Emily Tata (Natick, Mass.) scored the game’s lone goal in 65th minute as the Beavers upended the Pride, 1-0, in both team’s New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opener this afternoon at Brock-Affleck Field.
Springfield College senior goalkeeper
Christine McCarey (Middleboro, Mass.) stopped two shots in the loss. The Pride falls to 2-5 and 0-1 in the NEWMAC on the season. Babson improves to 5-4-1 and 1-0 in the conference.
