December 8, 2004 -- Springfield College freshman guard Tara McCarthy (Bristol, R.I.)
scored 13 points and snagged seven rebounds to lead the Pride to a 51-26 victory at Framingham State on Wednessay night.

SC opened the first half on a 15-0 run to take command of the game. Junior forward Courtney Parvin (Brackney Pa.)
tallied 12 points, six boards, four steals and three assists for SC on the evening, including six points in that stretch. The Pride closed out the first half with a 28-6 lead.
With 15:48 remaining in the second half, freshman guard Christine Cotter (Stoughton, Mass.)
drilled a three-pointer to start a 13-0 run to put the game out of the reach. SC eventually led by as many as 37 over the Rams (1-6). Junior forward Erin Schwartz (Milford, Conn.)
finished the night with eight points and nine rebounds.
SC returns to action on Friday when the Pride travels to Wesleyan University to take on the Cardinals for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.
