Men's Volleyball Headed to EIVA Finals for Third Straight Year, Secure Spot in Final Four
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- April 4, 2003- Springfield College sophomore outside hitter
Brandon Mueller (Bartlett, Ill.) had a match high 23 kills as the Pride beat Vassar College, 3-1, (30-32, 30-22, 30-23, 32-30). Springfield secured a spot in the Molten Division III Final Four next weekend with the victory and Juniata’s win over NYU, 3-1, tonight.
Senior outside hitter
Greg Lardo (Hamburg, N.Y.) contributed 20 kills and eight digs for Springfield, who ended the Brewers’ season for the third straight year.
Senior setter
Tucker Short (Brockport, N.Y.) was credited with 55 assists for the Pride.
Springfield advances to the EIVA Finals, for the third straight season, and take on the Juniata College Eagles tomorrow at 2 p.m.
