Men's Cross Country Finishes 16th at UMass-Dartmouth Invitational
North Dartmouth, Mass., September 21, 2002- Springfield College freshman
Chris Hamel (Methuen, Mass.) finished 71st to help lift the Pride to a 16th-place finish in a field of 33 teams at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational Saturday afternoon.
Hamel finished with a time of 27:16, which placed him 71st out of 240 runners.

Bryan Brown will enter his second season as the head men's cross country coach in the fall of 2012. Brown, who was a former All-American at Springfield College in track, led Springfield to a second-place finish at the NEWMAC Championships a year ago .
