



Complete ResultsIthaca, N.Y. - December 3, 2011 - The Springfield College men's swimming and diving team competed in the Ithaca Invitational on Saturday evening and remained in third place despite several impressive performances.
Cornell University is still leading the way with 1,570 points, followed by Hartwick College (1,023.5) and Springfield College (927.5).
The 200 free relay team of Scott Mackstutis, Josh Ernst, Josh Frey, and Nolan Manley kicked off the day as they combined to swim a 1:26.43 en route to placing third.
The Pride had a tremendous showing in the 200 free with Ernst (1:43.98) taking second, Manley (1:45.00) third, Jason Scotto (1:45.08) fourth, and Scott Peters (1:45.83) sixth.
Also finishing third in the 100 back was Josh Ernst, who swam a time of 52.57, while Springfield's 800 free relay team of Manley, Scotto, Peters, and Josh Ernst swam a 7:00.06 to also finish third.
In the one-meter diving competition, Kenny Pancoast had a strong showing as he placed third with a total score of 435.80.
