Springfield, Mass. - April 15, 2009 - The Springfield College men's soccer team will host a clinic for boys and girls ages 5 to 15 on May 3. The clinic will provide an opportunity for young soccer players to be coached by current soccer players at Springfield College. The camp will be run by all of the current student athletes including goal keeping specific training.

The clinic will take place from 10:00 am to 3:00 am and cost $50 to participate in.

Participants are asked to bring a soccer ball, shin pands, food and drink for the day and appropriate clothing in case of inclement weather.

"With Springfield College being a leader in Physical Education, Coaching, and Sports Management, we wanted to provide an opportunity for our young people to give back to the community and provide a service of basic soccer skill instruction in a fun and friendly environment," said head coach Peter Haley.
