Cortland, N.Y. -- March 5, 2011 -- The Springfield College women's gymnastics team finished fifth of seven teams in the ECAC Division III Championships at Cortland this afternoon. The Pride scored 183.150 points, which just missed its top score of the year (183.350) as a team.

As a result, the Pride has finished its season as a "team". It did not finish in the top three, which it needed to do in order to advance to the NCGA's in Eau Claire, Wisc. March 25-26. The top three teams from the ECAC's and from the Midwest each advanced to the NCGA's.
