



Springfield, Mass. - April 30, 2012 - Sophomore goalkeeper Rob Maher was named the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week for the second time this season after leading Springfield to a pair of victories last week.The Katonah, N.Y. native totaled 27 saves with a 5.50 goals against average and a .711 save percentage.
He opened the week with 16 saves in limiting 16th-ranked Western New England to just five goals. On Saturday, Maher made 11 stops and allowed just five goals to Babson as he held them off the scoreboard for the final 29:46.

Keith Bugbee enters his 30th season as head men's lacrosse coach at Springfield College in 2013. Under his direction, the Pride is one of the top programs in the country. Bugbee's coaching record stands at an impressive 317-149 (.680 winning percentage). Read more.
