Maher Earns Second Pilgrim Player of the Week Honor

Rob Maher Springfield, Mass. - April 30, 2012 - Sophomore goalkeeper Rob Maher was named the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week for the second time this season after leading Springfield to a pair of victories last week.

The Katonah, N.Y. native totaled 27 saves with a 5.50 goals against average and a .711 save percentage.

He opened the week with 16 saves in limiting 16th-ranked Western New England to just five goals. On Saturday, Maher made 11 stops and allowed just five goals to Babson as he held them off the scoreboard for the final 29:46.
