Men’s Soccer Falls To Williams, 1-0

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., October 16, 2002- Springfield College sophomore goalkeeper Tom Bowden (Havertown, Pa.) saved three shots but the Pride lost to Williams College, 1-0, on Wednesday.

Williams College freshman midfielder Josh Bolton (Penfield, N.Y.)scored the lone goal of the match off a nice feed from junior Khari Stephenson (Kingston, Jamaica). The goal came in the 71st minute of action, and it was all the visiting Ephs needed as they improved to 8-2 on the season.

Springfield College falls to 5-8-1 on the season with the loss, and will next be hosting the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) on Saturday, October 19 at 1:00 p.m.
