Women’s Tennis Defeats Colby-Sawyer, 8-1
NEW LONDON, N.H., Sept. 26, 2002 – The Springfield College women’s tennis team earned its second win in three, days upending host Colby-Sawyer, 8-1, this afternoon in a non-conference affair.

Liz Poulin (Waterville, Maine) paced the Pride with a 6-4, 6-0 win in the first-singles match and the SC captain teamed up with
Melissa Boyington (Vernon, Conn.) for a thrilling 9-7 first-doubles victory.
Springfield improves to 2-5 this fall while Colby-Sawyer falls to 3-4.
