Lewis Tabbed ECAC Division III Diver of the Week

Jack Lewis ECAC Diver of the Week Centerville, Mass. – December 12, 2013 - Springfield College’s Jack Lewis (Durham, N.H.) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Diver of the Week after a dominant performance on the boards last weekend.

The junior helped lead Springfield to a fifth place team finish at the Ithaca Invitational. Lewis was the runner up on the one-meter board after totaling a national-qualifying score of 513.60 and came out with a third place finish in the three-meter dive with a score of 471.40, also a national-qualifying score.

Lewis has been named the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Diver of the Week four times this season.

The Pride will be back in action on January 4th, hosting Union and Hartwick for a 1:00 p.m. start.

Peter Avdoulos Peter Avdoulos is regarded as one of the top diving coaches in the nation, and will enter his 29th season as the diving coach for both the men's and women's programs in 2013-2014. The current NEWMAC Women's and Men's Diving Coach of the Year, Avdoulos has coached countless All-New England and All-American divers, as well as several National Champions. Read more.
