The Scarborough, Maine native finished seventh out of 225 runners in the race to pace the Pride to a ninth-place overall finish. Finishing the five-mile race in 25:26, Griffin’s seventh place was the highest finish for a runner from a NEWMAC institution.
The race was comprised of 31 of the top teams from around the region.
Griffin and the Pride will run in the Williams Invitational on Saturday, September 22.
