Men's Volleyball Set To Begin World University Game Competition

World University Games Kazan, Russia - July 5, 2013 - The Springfield College men's volleyball team, which is the first Division III program to ever represent the United States in the World University Games, will begin pool play on Saturday afternoon. Their match against Estonia will be streamed live online on ESPN3.

The broadcast will be one of three events that directly relate to the Springfield College men's volleyball team to be available internationally on the ESPN family of networks. ESPN3 (formerly ESPN360 and ESPN3.com) is an online streaming service provided by ESPN Inc. that delivers both live streams and replays of global sports events to sports fans in North America, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Middle East, New Zealand, and Europe.

The Opening Ceremonies for the 2013 World University Games will be streamed live on July 6th at approximately 1:30 pm EST, while the match on July 8th against the host Russian squad will be on at 9:00 pm.

In addition, the website,http://www.livefisu.tv/ , will be the main hub for live streaming of the of the FISU Universiade. Their live quality stream of events are live and free to watch and contain full event commentary. On July 8th, Team USA will square off against Russia, and the match will be streamed live on http://www.livefisu.tv/ at 12:00 pm EST. Later that evening, the match will be shown on tape delay to a national audience on ESPNU at 9:00 pm EST. The match will also be aired again on ESPNU on July 9th at 7:00 am EST.

Team USA will also have another match of its pool play competition streamed live on July 11th when it takes on Korea. That match will air at 7:00 am EST on http://www.livefisu.tv/
