



Complete ResultsSpringfield, Mass. - January 22, 2012 - The Springfield College women's gymnastics team finished fourth in a quad meet hosted in Blake Arena on Sunday afternoon. Yale University claimed first with a 189.475, followed by Southern Connecticut State (188.825), Brockport (186.475), and the host Pride (184.550).
For the host team, junior Brittany Baglow (Amherst, Mass.) finished third in the all-around with a point total of 37.775. Freshman Lauren Pocius (Wallingford, Conn.) placed fifth with 37.100 points.
Winning the all-around was Joyce Li of Yale with a score of 38.050.
Other overall winners included Rebecca Brady of Southern Connecticut in vault (9.825), Kirby Pallis of Southern Connecticut in the uneven parallel bars (9.850), Joyce Li of Yale in the balance beam (9.700), and Tara Feld of Yale in the floor exercise (9.775).
Other top performers for the Pride included senior Carly Flynn (Franklin, Mass.) on vault (tied for 5th at 9.500), Pocius on bars (tied for fifth at 9.500), Baglow on beam (7th at 9.500), and junior Annemarie Graziosa (Eastchester, N.Y.) on floor, (tied for sixth at 9.650).



Cheryl Raymond, who will be entering her 34th year as the women's gymnastics coach and assistant professor of physical education at Springfield College in 2013-2014, is one of the top college coaches in the region. Read more.
