Springfield, Mass. - September 7, 2012 - On Monday, September 10, the Springfield College Department of Athletics will be holding the 23rd Annual Golf Classic. Limited spots are still available in the department's chief fundraiser, which helps support the College's 24 varsity intercollegiate teams.Once again, golfers can play at either Ludlow Country Club or the Country Club of Wilbraham. Shotgun starts will commence at Wilbraham at 12:00 pm and at Ludlow at 1:00 pm. Dinner, prizes, and raffles will be held at Ludlow following the day's play.
The honoree for this year's event will be Betty Mann G'74 D.P.E. '84, the former assistant professor of physical education, assistant director of graduate studies, and NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative.
