



Babson Park, Mass. - January 28, 2013 - Kenny Pancost was chosen as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Diver of the Week after another standout showing in a dual meet with Babson on Saturday.In a 173-123 win, Pancoast was dominant in the diving competition as he swept both boards, earning a pair of national qualifying standards. On the one-meter, the Monroe, Conn. product took first with a 327.00, while earlier in the meet, the senior won the three-meter with a 287.55.
This marks the fifth time that Pancoast has earned the honor and the ninth time that a Springfield College men's diver has been recognized. Teammate Jack Lewis has also picked up the accolade four times this season.

John Taffe enters his 24th season in 2012-2013 as the head coach of the men's and women's swimming teams at Springfield College. Under Taffe’s leadership, the Pride has returned to its status as one of the best collegiate swimming and diving programs in Division III. Read more.
