Men's Lacrosse Wraps Up Regular Season With 18-4 Win Over Lasell

NEWTON, Mass., April 26, 2003 - Springfield College freshman attackman
Taylor Brown (Portsmouth, R.I.) and sophomore attackman
Dan Blinn (Longmeadow, Mass.) scored four goals and one assists apiece to lead the Pride to a 18-4 victory over host Lasell College in the final regular season game of the spring.
The victory gave Springfield (9-4, 6-0 Pilgrim League) an umblemished record in the Pilgrim League, and secured the top seed for the upcoming conference tournament, which starts Wednesday, April 30 on Benedum Field at 7:00 p.m. versus Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
Leading, 10-2 at halftime, Springfield shut out the Lasers, 5-0 in the third quarter en route to its seventh consecutive victory.
