The Franklin, Mass. native averaged 14 points and nine rebounds in two games as the Pride moved to 9-7 overall, including a 4-1 mark in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference play. Brosseau shot 54.5% from the field on 12-of-22 shooting to go along with four teams for the Pride.
With her low-post counterpart, Lauren O'Connor sidelined with an injury, Brosseau earned her first start of the 2007-08 campaign against Smith on Wednesday evening. As the Pride picked up the key 51-49 road victory, Brosseau netted 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds. She shot 6-of-12 from the field and hit a critical 10-foot jumper with just under three minutes remaining as the shot clock expired to seal the win for Springfield.
In the Pride's 56-50 win over WPI on Saturday, Brosseau came off the bench and went 6-of-10 from the field en route to a game-high 16 points in just 28 minutes of action. She connected on all four of her attempts from the charity stripe and snagged a game-high 11 rebounds, including five on the offensive glass, for SC. She also added four steals in the game.
Springfield returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to take on conference-foe Clark at 7:00 pm.
