SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Oct. 5, 2004 - Springfield College senior
Molly Desroches (Belchertown, Mass.) netted her team-leading seventh goal of the season to lead the Pride over Mount Holyoke College, 2-0, in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women’s soccer match this afternoon at Brock-Affleck Field.
Desroches struck at the 9:20 mark in the match off of a feed from SC junior

Meg McTear (Barre, Vt.) tallied her second goal of the season with just :03 left in the opening half.

Christina Davis (Orange, Conn.) stopped three shots while junior keeper Tiffany Picard (Belmont, N.H.) saved five for the Lyons.
The Pride returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 7, when it hosts Wesleyan at 4:30 on Brock-Affleck Field.

John Gibson, a native of London, England, enters his 14th season as head women's soccer at Springfield College in the fall of 2013. Gibson has led the Pride to the NCAA Tournament in six of the last eight years and has established the Pride as one of the top programs in the country.
