



Springfield, Mass. - May 11, 2011 - Nine members of the Springfield College men's lacross team were named to the 2011 Pilgrim Lacrosse League All-Academic Team, the conference office announced. Both MIT and Springfield had nine student athletes honored for their success in the classroom.In order to make the team, a student athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 and be a significant contributor to his team.
Springfield's student athletes who were selected included Matt Basile, Matt Giannelli, Jarrid Johnson, Chris Loy, Ross Marchegiani, Rich Podlovits, Dom Roberto, Jon Santer, and Vinny Senatore.

Keith Bugbee enters his 30th season as head men's lacrosse coach at Springfield College in 2013. Under his direction, the Pride is one of the top programs in the country. Bugbee's coaching record stands at an impressive 317-149 (.680 winning percentage). Read more.
