Women's Tennis Falls to RIC, 7-2
Springfield, Mass., Sept. 23, 2004 - Springfield College senior
Aimee Dalenta (Tolland, Conn.) won at #2 singles and #1 doubles, but Rhode Island College defeated SC, 7-2, in a non-conference match in women’s tennis action today on Appleton Courts.
Junior
Megan Kelly (Queensbury, N.Y.) won her #2 doubles match in close fashion, 9-8 (5). Dalenta looked very strong in her #2 singles match adding SC’s only other victory during the day at, 6-1, 6-3.
The Anchorwomen improve to 5-0, while the Pride falls to 1-4 (1-1 NEWMAC).
