Women's Tennis Edges Clark, 5-4, In Home Opener
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Sept. 14, 2004 – Springfield College opened its home schedule with a 5-4 victory over visiting Clark in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women’s tennis match on Appleton Courts.

Suzanne Caiati (New Canaan, Conn.) picked up a straight-set win at #1 singles, and teamed with senior
Aimee Dalenta (Tolland, Conn.) for an 8-2 victory at #1 doubles. Junior
Meghan Kelly (Queensbury, N.Y.) and freshman
Shannon Desroches (Belchertown, Mass.)won at 8-2 at #2 doubles, and Kelly was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at #2 singles.
