Women's Cross Country Competes at NCAA Regional Championships

Gabby Gaudreault Complete Results

Westfield, Mass. - November 10, 2012 - The Springfield College women's cross country team competed in the NCAA Division III Regional Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Pride was paced by Gabby Gaudreault, who ran a time of 22:31.92, to finish 37th overall.

Springfield finished 23rd out of 51 teams racing in the event as it totaled 678 points. MIT claimed the regional championship with 58 points, placing three runners in the top 10.

Behind Gaudreault, the Pride's next finish was Elizabeth Footit, as she finished in 24:40.41. Just behind her was Sarah Knop, who crossed the finish line in 24:45.03.

Springfield's other two runners who scored in the race were Erica Fisher (24:54.88) and Morgan Mrak (25:07.71).
