Springfield, Mass. -- November 8, 2010 -- Kenny Pancoast of the Springfield College men's swimming & diving team has been named New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference Men’s Diver of the Week as a result of his accomplishments in the home meet 152-127 victory against the University of Rhode Island last Saturday at the Art Linkletter Natatorium.Pancoast, a sophomore from Monroe, Conn., swept both the one-meter and three-meter events. In the one-meter, Pancoast finished with a score of 264.60, before he followed that performance up in the three-meter event with a 282.75.
Up next, the men and women swimmers and divers compete at Wheaton College with Keene State on Nov. 20 at 1 pm.
John Taffe enters his 24th season in 2012-2013 as the head coach of the men's and women's swimming teams at Springfield College. Under Taffe’s leadership, the Pride has returned to its status as one of the best collegiate swimming and diving programs in Division III. Read more.
