



Complete Team ResultsMiddlebury, Vt. - September 19, 2010 - The Springfield College golf team competed over the weekend in the 27th Annual Duke Nelson Invitational which took place on the par 71 Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the campus of Middlebury College.
Craig DiFranco led the way for the Pride, tied in 52nd place. He shot an 85 first round and a 74 second, making his total 159 stokes for the tournament.
RPI claimed the victory with a score of 606 strokes. Peter Taylor of Wesleyan University was the winner of the tournament with a solid 146 strokes.
Rounding out the Pride's competitors in the tournament were Thomas Sangeloty (163) and Ryne McEvoy (163), who both tied for 79th. Kyle DiFranco (165) tied for 95th, while Alexander Brown (173) finished tied for 115th.
The Pride competes again this coming weekend at the Williams Invitational in Williamstown, Mass
Joe Eadie enters his 19th season as the head men's golf coach at Springfield College in the fall of 2012. Eadie is the head golf professional at the Fenway Golf Range in nearby East Longmeadow, and is in the process of becoming a PGA Professional. Read more.
