Stevens Outlasts Women's Lacrosse, 11-9

Kelly Gallo Orlando, Fla. - March 15, 2012 - Despite four goals from Kelly Gallo, the Springfield College women's lacrosse team fell to Stevens, 11-9, in its final game of its Spring Break trip on Thursday.

The Pride's record dropped to 2-3 on the year. Springfield showed plenty of resolve in the second half, rebounding from a 9-3 deficit to make it a two-goal game.

Meghan Flanagan chipped in three goals, while Kerstin Lindrooth tacked on a goal and an assist. Anne Versprille made nine saves between the pipes.

Springfield looks to get back to its winning ways on Tuesday evening when it hosts Keene State at 7:00 pm.
