The program is designed to highlight local athletes who now participate in intercollegiate athletics at the area colleges and universities, and airs every Friday from 4-5 p.m.
Baglow, a native of Amherst, Mass., has had a terrific start to her junior season. Last week at Ithaca, she finished in a tie for first in the vault with a score of 9.625, tied for first in the balance beam at 9.600, and was second in the floor exercise at 9.550. Overall, the health science major placed second in the all-around with a score of 36.375.
German, a native of Spencer in Central Massachusetts, is one of the team's three captains. Her specialties include the uneven bars and floor exercise. She is a physical education major.
Now in her 32nd year as women's gymnastics coach and assistant professor of physical education, Raymond is regarded as one of the top college coaches in the region. Last season, she guided five athletes to the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championships in 2011, including Baglow, who went on to earn All-America accolades on the balance beam.
