



WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – September 26, 2008 – Andrew Constant of Springfield College competed in the first round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association New England Championships at Williams College Saturday, but could not come up with the victory.Constant, a senior from Kingston, N.Y. who plays No. 1 singles for the Pride, fell to Trinity’s David Yahng by a score of 7-6 (4), 6-0.
Constant then paired up with senior teammate Bobby Schlink (Quaker Hill, Conn.), but they lost in the first round of doubles competition to the duo of Cranin and Winningham of Bowdoin, 8-6.

Toby Coffin G’01, enters his second year as the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College. Coffin, who has coached at numerous high schools in the area, will look to build a program which will contend for a conference crown.
