Donoghue Chosen To Play In NEILA Senior All-Star Game

Mike Donoghue Springfield, Mass. - May 29, 2013 -Senior Mike Donoghue was recognized for his play this season as he was selected to play in the 2013 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Senior All-Star Game.

The game, which consists of the top seniors in New England in Division I, II, and III, will take place at Merrimack College on Friday, May 31 at 7:00 pm.

This year, the Barnstable, Mass. native appeared in all 18 games games for the Pride as one of its tri-captains. In helping Springfield capture its sixth-straight Pilgrim Lacrosse League title, Donoghue was key in the Pride's transition game all year, posting five goals and two assists while playing longstick midfielder.

In addition, he ranked fourth on the team with 33 ground balls and added nine caused turnovers.
