Women's Track and Field Fairs Well at Army Open

WEST POINT, N.Y. – January 26, 2008 – The Springfield College women's indoor track and field team came back from winter break and faired well in the West Point Invitational, a non-scoring meet.

Nikki Hay took second in the 60 meter dash in a time of 8.43 as well as third in the 200 meter dash in 27.86. She also finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 10.93 meters.

In the 400 meter dash, Jen McBride placed third with a time of 1:04.46 while teammates Alyssa Brigham (5:24.44) and Amanda DiPaulo (5:30.00) finished second and third in the one-mile run, respectively.

Lara Dalidowitz claimed second place in the high jump with a 1.53 meter jump for the Pride.

Springfield returns to action on Saturday, February 2, when it competes in the Tufts Invitational.
