



Kayla Thibeault and Lauren Peltier picked up the honors this season after an outstanding campaign for head coach John Gibson.
Thibeault was also named to the 2007 NSCAA/adidas NCAA Division III All-New England Region First Team, while Peltier was named to the Third Team.
A native of Lebanon, Conn., Thibeault continued to make an impact in her second season for the Pride. Thibeault is one of the most decorated athletes on the team as the shutdown defender, and was a NEWMAC All-Conference First Team recipient for the second straight season. She chipped in with three goals and four assists this year.
A local product from Agawam, Mass., Peltier helped control the pace of the game for the Pride at the center midfield position. Peltier recorded six goals and a pair of assists this season, and led the team with four game-winning goals. She was also honored as a NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team pick.
John Gibson, a native of London, England, enters his 14th season as head women's soccer at Springfield College in the fall of 2013. Gibson has led the Pride to the NCAA Tournament in six of the last eight years and has established the Pride as one of the top programs in the country. His clubs have registered an impressive a 165-75-21 record.
