MIDDLEBURY, Vt. Sept. 14 - Springfield College senior goalkeeper
Lindsey Pardue (Houston, Texas) made 25 saves but it was No. 10 Middlebury College coming away with a 3-2 win over the visiting No. 13 Pride Tuesday in Vermont.

Kim Stevens (Knox, Maine) opened the scoring at the 30:05 mark of the first half off an assist from junior
Amber Paradee (Sheldon, Vt.) to put the Pride up, 1-0. Middlebury would answer 25 seconds later and then went ahead, 2-1, with 22:40 remaining in the half. SC freshman
Brittany Veazie (Dexter, Maine) evened the score with an unassisted goal at the 19:43 mark as the game was tied, 2-2, at halftime.
Middlebury scored the game winner with 4:36 remaining in the game to send the Pride to its first loss of the season as well as under first-year head coach

SC returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 16) with a 4:00 p.m. showdown with Conn. College on Benedum Field.
