



Complete ResultsKnoxville, Tenn. - March 24, 2011 - The Springfield College women's swimming team competed in the second day of the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday. Kellie Pennington swam in the 100 fly, while the 200 free relay team competed, however both were unable to qualify for the championship finals.
Pennington swam her second individual event of the NCAA's as she competed in the 100 fly. The freshman placed 22nd out of 41 swimmers after touching in 57.03. The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Swimmer of the Year entered the event seeded 11th with a qualifying time of 56.54.
Reilly also joined Pennington in the 100 fly as she swam a 58.74 to place 35th. Reilly had originally qualified with a time of 57.91.
As for the Pride's relay, the team of Pennington, Jaclyn Van Waalwijk, Caroline Kosciusko, and Reilly clocked in 1:36.49, which was the 18th fastest time of the prelims. The squad originally qualified for the NCAA's with a time of 1:35.10.
