SPRINGFIELD, Mass., October 7, 2005 - The Springfield College Department of Athletics and the Department of Student Activities announces its Annual MIDNIGHT MADNESS event, Saturday, October 15, 2005 in Blake Arena. Midnight Madness is a night of fun to kick off the Springfield College men and women’s basketball seasons.
Doors open at 11:15 p.m., bring a dollar to donate to the United Way, and get a chance to shoot a foul shot for a T-shirt. Introductions of players and guest coaches will begin at midnight. The SC men’s and women’s varsity basketball teams will compete. It will be a fun-filled evening with contests and prizes. Win raffles, thunder sticks, t-shirts, and more. Two lucky students will get a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize.
Students, come support your men and women’s basketball teams on October 15, 2005 at 11:15 p.m. for MIDNIGHT MADNESS as they prepare to defend their NCAA playoff successes of the 2004-2005 seasons.
