Springfield, Mass. - January 31, 2012 - Sophomore Gabriella Gaudreault of Springfield College women's track and field team will be sharing her thoughts throughout the season as she provides an inside look of what it's like to be a college student-athlete. The Applied Exercise Science major is in her second season at Springfield. Midway through the indoor portion of her schedule, Gaudreault and the Pride are off the a promising start, fresh off winning the Southern Maine Invitational on January 28.

Jim Pennington enters his 29th season as head coach of the Springfield College women’s cross country and track and field teams in 2012-2013. Under Pennington’s direction, the Pride has recorded seven top 20 finishes at the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and seven top 15 finishes at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
