Springfield, Mass. - January 29, 2009 - Thursday night's men's volleyball match between Springfield College and Elms College will begin at approximately 8:15 instead of the original time of 7:00 pm.After the winter storm postponed the women's basketball game from Wednesday to Thursday, the top-ranked men's volleyball team will be the second game of a twinbill in Blake Arena.
The Springfield College women's basketball team will take on Clark at 5:30 pm and volleyball match will begin 60 minutes after the basketball game has finished.
With eight national championships to his credit, Charlie Sullivan will enter his 16th season as head coach of the men's volleyball team in 2014. In 15 previous years at the helm, Sullivan owns an overall record of 256-158 for a .618 winning percentage. Read more.
