Men's Lacrosse Rolls Past Williams, 18-10

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Springfield College junior attackman Taylor Brown (Portsmouth, R.I.) scored four goals and recorded four assists to lead the Pride past Williams College, 18-10, Wednesday afternoon at Renzie Lamb Field.

Springfield (2-4) opened up with a 5-0 first quarter lead and built an 11-6 halftime lead over the Ephs (3-2). Brown had two goals and three assists in that span, while the Pride also had two goals each from senior attackman Shawn Cofrin (Derry, N.H.) and senior attackman Craig Gibson (South Salem, N.Y.).

Williams entered the contest with a three-game win streak that saw them hold the opposition to just 12 goals combined in the three wins. But the Pride scored the first three tallies of the second half to go up 14-6 and never looked back.
