Elite Girls Soccer Camp Registration (.pdf)Springfield, Mass. - July 21, 2010 - Head coach John Gibson will be conducting the Springfield College Elite Soccer Camp for High School Girls, which will take place Wednesday, July 28 to Friday, July 30. The camp is open for girls in grades nine and above and costs $350.
The camp is designed to provide the college-bound soccer player with the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to succeed on and off the field at the college level. Players will be exposed to the four corners of performance development through physical, technical/tactical, psychological, and social education. The camp will utilize on-field, as well as interactive classroom-based seminars to create a positive learning environment that is both enjoyable and challenging.
John Gibson, a native of London, England, enters his 14th season as head women's soccer at Springfield College in the fall of 2013. Gibson has led the Pride to the NCAA Tournament in six of the last eight years and has established the Pride as one of the top programs in the country. His clubs have registered an impressive a 165-75-21 record.
