



Kansas City, Kan. - December 4, 2012 - Junior Vicky DiNatale continued to be recognized for an tremendous season as she was named to the 2012 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Women's Soccer Division III All-America Second Team.This marks the third-straight year that a Springfield College women's soccer player was named to a All-America team. Last season, Jackie Moscardelli was selected to the NSCAA All-America First Team.
DiNatale has helped lead Springfield College to three-consecutive trips to the NCAA Division III Championship. In her time on Alden Street, Springfield has owned a 43-14-4 record for a .737 winning percentage.
Earlier this season, DiNatale was named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference First Team as she started all 20 games on defense. This year's NEWMAC Championship Most Outstanding Player, she anchored the Pride's defense that gave up just 13 goals the entire season.
The Weymouth, Mass. native also was a factor on offense, tallying four goals, included two game-winning strikes.
John Gibson, a native of London, England, enters his 13th season as head women's soccer at Springfield College in the fall of 2012. Gibson has led the Pride to the NCAA Tournament in five of the last seven years and has established the Pride as one of the top programs in the country. His clubs have registered an impressive a 152-70-19 record.
