WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. Jan., 25, 2003 - Springfield College sophomore Megan Skinner (Acton, Mass.) placed second in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.42) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:09.77), but the Pride lost to Williams College, 188-106.

Springfield freshman Sarah Strout (Edgecomb, Maine) took first place in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:54.03), while sohopmore teammate Victoria Dennis (Willington, Conn.) won the 200-yard IM (2:23.52).

Junior Beth Byron (Haverhill, Mass.) placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.45) and third in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:36.54).

Pride senior Alison Mellage (Union, N.J.) won the three meter dive (275.18)
