Lewis Selected as CSCAA Honorable Mention All-American
Essex Falls, N.J. - April 15, 2014 -
Springfield College junior diver Jack Lewis (Durham, N.H.)
was recognized by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for his performance on the board during the 2013-2014 season, garnering Honorable Mention All-America honors.
After finishing 20th on the three-meter board at the NCAA Championships from March 19-22 in Indianapolis, Ind., Lewis competed for the first time on the one-meter board on the national stage and placed 15th overall, earning Honorable Mention All-America honors.
The Recreation Management major totaled a score of 442.30 in the consolation final to earn the national honor. In the prelims during the morning session, the reigning New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Diver of the Year totaled a 435.95 to earn one of the 25 spots in the afternoon session, in which he finished 15th.

Diving Coach Peter Avdoulos
Peter Avdoulos is regarded as one of the top diving coaches in the nation, and will enter his 29th season as the diving coach for both the men's and women's programs in 2013-2014. The current NEWMAC Women's and Men's Diving Coach of the Year, Avdoulos has coached countless All-New England and All-American divers, as well as several National Champions. Read more
