In the Pride's two conference victories last week, Hanewich tallied a goal in each game to lead the way for Springfield. On Tuesday evening, Hanewich netted the Pride's second goal of the game at the 25:14 mark en route to a 3-0 win against Mount Holyoke.
On Saturday afternoon, the Smithfield, R.I. native once again added an insurance goal, this time with just over 15 minutes remaining in regulation as the Pride topped Wellesley, 2-0.
With the win, the Pride closed out the regular season undefeated at home with an 11-0 mark.
Hanewich has had one of the finest offensive seasons in program history as she has recorded 34 points off 15 goals and four assists. Her 15 goals is the highest single season goal total since Angel Schofield netted 19 in 1992. Her 34 points is the most since Kathleen Terrenzio recorded 34 in 1997.
Springfield looks to win its' sixth game in a row as it wraps up New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference play on Tuesday evening at WPI. Kick-off is slated for 7:00 p.m.
