Taylor Brown Receives Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honors
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., April 16, 2003 – Springfield College freshman attackman
Taylor Brown (Portsmouth, R.I.) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England Co-Player of the Week and the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week after leading the Pride to a pair of wins last week.
Brown registered two goals and three assists in a 12-7 win over Connecticut College last Wednesday (April 9) and scored a career-high seven goals to go along with three assists in a 25-7 Pilgrim League victory over Wheaton College, Saturday (April 12).
Brown ranks 12th in Division III scoring (5.00 ppg.), and leads the Pilgrim League in goals (3.00 gpg.). Springfield (5-4) is ranked 10th nationally in scoring offense (13.67 gpg.).
